Please join us for our 7th year of the Freeport Creative Arts Chain Stitch Event Knit-in! Sunday, October 19th from 12:00-3pm Freeport Yoga Company 81 Bow Street, Freeport, Maine Bring your needles and knit and crochet projects to make warm items to donate to Freeport Community Services Holiday Helpline. We will share refreshments, free patterns and offer creative support! *New this year, we are making a community knit scarf which will be in progress at Freeport Yoga Company. So, even if you can't join us for the entire event, please stop by and knit a row or two on our collaborative scarf project! Beyond the Knit-in event: There will be baskets at: Freeport Yoga Company, Freeport Community Center and Freeport Community Library throughout the month of October to collect your donations. We will be at the Freeport Fall Festival (LL Bean campus) on Sunday, October 5th, 11-4pm; stop by, have a treat and knit a few! We will have a collection basket there, as well!
